Owner and APA Titled Pain and Musculoskeletal PhysiotherapistJulie has applied international pain treatment research to overcome her own work place and motor accident pain, following 2 spinal fusions and nerve damage with autoimmune and inflammatory challenges. All this while parenting 2 young boys and running a busy health business - so she really does understand the challenges of overcoming complex pain in the real world!
Julie combined her personal experience with over 20 years clinical experience in private practice including being past Senior Physiotherapist to the Royal Adelaide Hospital Chronic Pain Unit, Head of General and Spinal Outpatient Units Royal Adelaide Hospital, with a Masters degree in Orthopaedics and extra training in cognitive behavioural therapy and motivational interviewing, to create Advanced Pain Solutions. She has a special interest in complex Chronic Pain, back and neck pain, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, trauma related pain, Diabetes and empowering people to return to a full, pain free life. She is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, The Australian Pain Society and the International Association for the Study of Pain. |
